Philip is head of the Audit and Corporate Finance Division, looking after a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small companies to large UK and overseas organisations.

Philip’s dynamic and strategic approach to clients’ needs, whether they are seeking assistance for growth or exit planning, is one that is highly valued by clients who want a forward thinking relationship with their accountant.

Jay is based in our audit department, having joined us as an Audit Senior in January 2012.

Prior to joining TWP, Jay spent six years at a Top 30 accountancy firm, where he dealt with accounts, audit and tax across various sectors, including charities and not-for-profit organisations.

He is qualified through the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and is also a Chartered Certified Accountant with the ACCA after qualifying in January 2015.

Jay is responsible for the audit function at TWP, from pre planning stages right the way up to audit sign off. Jay takes particular pride in managing expectations internally and externally. He is in regular and frequent contact with clients to provide assistance where possible and also to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of audits whilst providing constructive feedback.

Jay works closely with his team, and is a firm believer is promoting the development of his fellow colleagues.

Jonathan is a fellow of the ICAEW and brings a strong blend of technical expertise and practical experience to the TWP team, supporting a wide range of clients with their audit, accounting, tax, and compliance needs.

He works closely with business owners to help them understand their financial position, meet their reporting obligations, and plan confidently for the future. Jonathan’s approachable style and commitment to clear communication ensure that clients feel supported at every stage, whether navigating day‑to‑day queries or tackling more complex challenges. Jonathan holds the status of Responsible Individual (RI), granting him the authority to sign off on audit reports.

With a strong grounding in current accounting standards he is dedicated to providing reliable guidance that helps clients stay compliant and focused on growth. Jonathan is passionate about building long‑term relationships and delivering a service that genuinely makes a difference.
