Zainab is a valuable member of our audit department, having joined us as an Audit Supervisor in February 2021.

Before joining TWP, Zainab accumulated seven years of experience at the Top 10 audit firms, where she handled accounts, audits and taxes for a wide range of clients including small businesses and large UK and international organisations.

She is a Chartered Certified Accountants with the ACCA.

Nicola is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and provides support for small to medium size companies and their directors.

She is experienced in preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, management accounts and personal tax returns.

Nicola regularly uses and advises on cloud accounting packages including Xero, Quickbooks and FreeAgent, and also add-on apps such as Dext.

Emma joined TWP in October 2018, after training at a mid-tier firm. Emma completed her Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and is also a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA). Emma works with a wide range of clients including non-doms and high net worth individuals.

A member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, Association of Accounting Technicians and Association of Taxation Technicians, Susan is experienced in providing business and consultancy services to owner managed businesses.

Her expertise includes providing clients with business solutions, especially with start-ups for managing their accounting systems.

Susan is experienced with the preparation of management accounts, preparation of statutory accounts, corporation and personal tax returns as well as VAT, Payroll matters, Construction Industry Scheme and IR35.

Jay is based in our audit department, having joined us as an Audit Senior in January 2012.

Prior to joining TWP, Jay spent six years at a Top 30 accountancy firm, where he dealt with accounts, audit and tax across various sectors, including charities and not-for-profit organisations.

He is qualified through the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and is also a Chartered Certified Accountant with the ACCA after qualifying in January 2015.

Jay is responsible for the audit function at TWP, from pre planning stages right the way up to audit sign off. Jay takes particular pride in managing expectations internally and externally. He is in regular and frequent contact with clients to provide assistance where possible and also to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of audits whilst providing constructive feedback.

Jay works closely with his team, and is a firm believer is promoting the development of his fellow colleagues.

Andrew has specialised in Tax since completing his degree in Accountancy and Finance and is Head of our Taxation Services and a Partner.

Andrew is a specialist in business and corporate tax, his areas of expertise include property investors and developers, care homes and healthcare-related businesses, exit planning, reconstructions and strategic tax planning.

He also has a wealth of experience and knowledge in dealing with the taxation affairs of high net worth individuals, businesses and corporate clients, business transactions including purchases, sales and mergers and assists regularly in group reorganisations and property transactions.

Andrew is highly regarded by clients and is immensely passionate about helping them with their tax affairs. He ensures that the team work hard to find solutions that help to mitigate tax through the various reliefs available.

Additionally, he is responsible for both the Corporate/Business and Private Client tax teams and takes overall responsibility for the delivery of Taxation Services.

Paul is Managing Partner at TWP overseeing the management and strategy of the firm, in addition to looking after a portfolio of clients.

A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and of the Association of Accounting Technicians, his expertise includes the audit and production of accounts of consolidated groups, auditing listed companies and owner-managed businesses and internal audits and risk management.

Paul finds particular satisfaction in working with clients to identify ways to strengthen their business, including improved financial controls and risk management, and in advising them on technical reporting issues.

Dean has worked in the payroll sector for over 30 years, managing clients and implementation projects both in the UK and Ireland. From his lengthy experience in the industry Dean is able to help with a wide range of payroll solutions that work for businesses of all sizes.

Mitchell has taken a lead role to assist clients with Making Tax Digital and has helped a large number of our clients who have made the move to cloud accounting systems.

His expertise includes providing clients with business solutions, especially with start-ups for managing their accounting systems.

He also is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Philip is head of the Audit and Corporate Finance Division, looking after a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small companies to large UK and overseas organisations.

Philip’s dynamic and strategic approach to clients’ needs, whether they are seeking assistance for growth or exit planning, is one that is highly valued by clients who want a forward thinking relationship with their accountant.

Stephen is passionate about supporting businesses and individuals with their tax affairs in his role as Business & Corporate Tax Manager. He qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in January 2019 and is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).

Using his knowledge and experience, Stephen can assist with personal tax returns, corporation tax returns and P11d’s. He also has specialist expertise in Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED), Research and Development (R&D) relief claims and Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI) scheme registrations, along with other tax-efficient scheme registrations.

As part of his role, he also provides Share Option compliance with HMRC and can assist with the preparation and submission of Employment Related Securities Returns. Stephen obtains particular satisfaction from the variety of his work and the opportunity to interact with clients from both a personal and corporate view on taxation.

Emma started working for TWP in February 2019 and has been working within payroll for over 25 years. Working in varied roles such as Manager of contactor payroll within a large recruitment firm and a payroll specialist within a globally known payroll bureau.

At TWP Emma is part of a very committed payroll team.  Her role is very varied and includes, but not limited to, the processing and checking of weekly/monthly payrolls, PAYE /National insurance calculations, liaising with HMRC regarding PAYE schemes set up and queries and in depth investigations into payroll related queries/issues.

Beckie is an experienced administrator who joined TWP in January 2014, as part of the Admin and Support team. Over the years she has taken on many tasks for the day to day running of the office, and has worked her way up to the position of Office Support Manager.

Previously has Beckie worked at an Estate Agency for five and a half years providing administrative support and IT managed service company, where she provided sales support and personal assistance to the owner.

Beckie enjoys the day-to-day variety the role brings, including liaising and assisting the clients and staff. She works hard to provide the best support for clients.

Rachel is Head of Marketing for the practice and oversees all of the practices marketing activities. Rachel also formulates our client care programmes and works closely with Partners on the development of TWP’s marketing strategy and wider business development.

Rachel has over 30 years of experience in the marketing industry and has previously worked for the world’s largest exhibition organiser before taking a career break to look after her two boys.
