TWP staff have become more dementia aware after completing training ran by Nathan Hartley of Bluebird Care. Our team have made an effort to better understand the needs of our clients suffering from the condition by completing Dementia Friends training through an initiative run by the Alzheimer’s Society. The programme has been setup to change the perceptions of dementia, and aims to transform the way people act, think and talk about the condition. There are over 2.5 million Dementia Friends transforming their communities and the lives of people affected by dementia.
