Surrey firm TWP has been ranked among the UK’s top 100 accountancy firms for the first time by a leading professional journal.
A survey, published this week by Accountancy Age, saw Weybridge-based TWP make their debut on the prestigious list at number 98.
Hundreds of firms participated in the in-depth analysis of the accounting profession, which looked at factors including growth, annual fee income and the fees generated by each partner in the firm.
Philip Munk, Managing Partner at TWP, said: “It is a fantastic achievement for our firm to be recognised as a rising star in the industry, and is a well-deserved reflection of the dedication that everyone on the TWP team has shown to building and developing the practice. This is a very proud day for the firm.
“Over the years we have shown a commitment to high standards of service to our clients, and we hope that this will continue to help us grow in the future and become a regular fixture on the top 100 list.”
TWP was established more than 75 years ago, and is the largest firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in Weybridge. They have more than 30 highly skilled employees, including five partners.
Their primary focus is on audit, accounting and taxation, but the firm also offers a number of other professional services such as business consultancy, financial services and corporate planning.
Earlier this year the firm expanded further by joining forces with another local accountancy practice, Lea & Co, following the retirement of their founder and proprietor, Peter Lea.
