Private Client Tax Trainee

We are actively recruiting a proactive Tax Trainee who is passionate about making a difference to join our friendly and supportive working environment. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced tax professionals to learn the required procedures needed for a tax career. TWP has a varied client base giving candidates the opportunity to get involved with a variety of work and development opportunities.

This would be the perfect role for an A-level leaver or graduate looking to start a career in personal taxation.

The Role:

  • Assisting with tax compliance including preparation of personal tax returns and liaising with HMRC regarding clients’ tax affairs
  • Assisting colleagues and partners with queries and projects
  • Dealing with correspondence from HMRC
  • Other ad hoc work as required
  • Report to the Private Client Tax Manager

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management

Qualifications Essential:

  • A Levels – A to C results in at least 3 A Levels
  • Maths GCSE – 9 to 7 pass minimum

  • The successful candidate will have a varied role within the team and be provided with full training leading to a professional qualification.
