A new London restaurant venture by entrepreneur Alan Yau is proving a big hit with food fans following a launch supported by the corporate finance expertise of Surrey accountants TWP Accounting LLP, founder members of The Corporate Finance Network.

TWP have recently completed the acquisition of the property & trade of a care home.

Philip Munk at TWP led the £860k transaction which involved:

• assessing & corroborating the information provided in the sales information;
• liaising with the vendor's advisors;
• supporting the client's legal team; and
• advising upon the tax consequences of the deal

The transaction had a successful outcome & has now encouraged the client to consider other acquisitions in the sector.

TWP’s client has recently completed the sale of their restaurant business to a private equity group.

Philip Munk supported the management team and acted as a quasi board director during the negotiations, liaising with the Board and the lead advisors to recommend a suitable structure for the sale.  TWP continued to provide management and other information to maintain the momentum of the deal, bringing it to a successful conclusion.
